Eat my scurgy poo
Nothing too spectacular, just some random photos taken haphazardly. Dedicated to my photographer at large, Joyce, whose currently living it up in Glendale before she leaves for Alabama, of all places. I will take some good photos, and set out solely with the purpose of taking photos and bring only my camera and my eye, very very soon! How do I make these bigger?

niiice! shall you be shooting and updating regularly now? :)
"eat my scrugy poo." uh huh ;P
well, all i can really say is keep shooting, man! here's some minor critique-ing; take it or leave it...
street photo: do you know the rule of 3rds? if you have a rectangle, your viewfinder, split that into thirds both vertically and hoprizontally. place your most important subject of the photo at the intersection of thirds. (ofcourse, know the rules so that you may better break them...) this photo abides by the rule of thirds, but leaves wayyy too much white space (methinks) in the lower 3rd quadrant.
the self-portrait is interesting and disturbing. your face expression..! ;p i'd say, though, watch out for the edges of your frame. it would've been cool to make this photo a symmetry-play photo, but bright white finger on right detracts from that and draws my eye off the photo.
building with buggy photo seems a big white-washed. compositionally, make it straight! ;p another rule: if you ever use tilt in your photos, tilt with full knowledge of and reason for the tilt
(here, you could've aligned the building walls to the edges of your frame)
i really really dig the "i will" photo. you say you like how i notice the little things. i can say the same for you. :) keep looking, noticing, and SEEing. (however, remember that you have knees! i probably would've tried making this image with a lower plane of vision to get more of the face on the bag)
street photo-- watch out for lens flare from the sun! you can shield your lens with your hands... digi-cams usually make ugly lens flares. haven't yet figured out how to make it aesthetic.. also, was the cutting of the "stop" on purpose? might be your style, but i would've tried to include the whole thing or cut it out altogether (but each to their own..!)
the tower photo is extremely phallic. ;) interesting composition; perhaps bring your camera down a bit, and cut out some of the sky? or was the centering of the tower in the frame intentional?
yay photos!!! Keep shooting!!!
luv, j :D :B
Hey Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it!!
